Trafford Pedestrian and Cycling Improvements
Works are just beginning on the Talbot Road - White city junction, the first of three major junction improvements we will be completing on behalf of Trafford council taking us up to spring 2024. The project will see these junctions undergoing major reconfiguration into cycle friendly cyclops junctions including all new signals, bike lanes and remodelling of traffic islands. At present talbot road is extremely busy and splits Trafford along the centre making it unavoidable for local cyclists but without protection few will risk it. The three junction improvements will see the creation of a safe continuous cycling and walking link through the centre of Trafford opening the area up for active travel, improving safety and taking cars off the road.
